Germaine V. Dillon, 93, Tiverton

Germaine DillonGermaine V. (Bousquet) Dillon, age 93, of Tiverton, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at the Silver Creek Nursing Home in Bristol.  She was the beloved wife of the late William H. Dillon.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Ruest) Bousquet, she had been a lifelong resident of Tiverton.

She worked at the Newport Naval Base as a blueprint operator for many years before retiring and was a communicant of St. Christopher’s Church in Tiverton.  She and her husband were members of the Royal Travelers and enjoyed visiting many countries together.

She is survived by one sister, Juliette Gregory of Tiverton; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  She was sister of the late Rita Akers, Eugene Bousquet, Theodore “Adrian” Bousquet, and Ronald Bousquet.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23, at 11 a.m. in St. Christopher’s Church, 1584 Main Road, Tiverton.  Relatives and friends are  invited.

Contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Burial private.  Arrangements are  in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Tribute at Cherry Place.  For tributes or directions: www.waring-sullivan.com
