Beverly Fontes, 70, of Kickemuit Road, Warren died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012. She was the beloved wife of George Fontes Jr.

Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late John S. and Mary (Pacheco) Coelho, she worked 18 years for Carol Cable before retiring in 1988.

Besides her husband, she leaves brothers James Coelho of Denver, Colo. and Kenneth Coelho of Cranston; and sisters June Votaw of Nevada, Ma.,  Mary Akervich of Warren, Martha Peters of Bristol and Donna Fernandes of Swansea. She was was preceded in death by her brothers John, Joseph and Robert Coelho, Bernadette Ackerley, Priscilla Jacobs and Barbara Silvia.

Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, where family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11. Funeral services are 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church, Main Street, Warren.
