Mrs. Antonetta (Salvaggio) Caromile, age 92, of Roma Street, Bristol, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home, Bristol. She was the wife of the late Louis Caromile. Born in Bristol, RI and a life long resident, she was a daughter of the late Jacquim “Jack ” and Emily(Cirillo) Salvaggio.
Antonetta was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Antonetta also loved cooking for her family.
She will be sadly missed by her son Joseph Caromile and his wife Laura of Warwick and her daughter LouAnn Cortellessa and her husband Domenic of Bristol; her grandchildren Michael J., Stephen L., Jonathan E., Bethany L. Caromile and Robert Cortellessa; great grandchildren Presley M. and Vincent M. Cortellessa; and a brother Alphonse Salvaggio of Bristol.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Salvaggio.
Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday at 9a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial At 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, State Street. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
