Angela A. Giorgi

Angela A. Giorgi, 86, of West Street, Barrington, died peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edmond T. Giorgi. A lifelong resident of Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmela (Gubitosi) Piccerelli. Mrs. Giorgi was an employee of the former Rhode Island Lace Works for 39 years before retiring in 1981. Angela was a communicant of Holy Angels Church.

Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by two sons, Edmond T. Giorgi Jr. and his wife Marylee of Barrington and Anthony N. Giorgi and his wife Siobhan of Providence; a daughter, Donna M. Lama and her husband David of Barrington; and seven grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rose Borges, Mary Dorzi, John and Arthur Piccerelli, Guerino and Thomas Benedetti.

Her funeral was held on Tuesday, July 17, from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, Riverside, with a Mass of Christian burial in Holy Angels Church. Burial was held in Santa Maria del Campo Cemetery. www.wrwatsonfuneralhome.com
