Robin L. (Hart) Jeffers of Westport died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at home after a 10-month battle with lung cancer at the age of 45. She was the daughter of Sharon (Stowell) Booth and the late Roger E. Hart Jr.
Robin graduated from Dartmouth High School in 1984 and, in October of that year, joined the U.S. Army at the age of 18. She later lived in South Carolina and then moved to Tennessee where she lived for many years. Robin moved back to Westport four years ago and worked as a CSM at Walmart in North Dartmouth until her illness.
Besides her loving mother, Robin is survived by her son, Thomas Dewey Crites Jr. of Kentucky; her step-father, Burton Booth of Westport; two sisters, Roberta L. Murray of Dartmouth and Rebecca L. Nunes and her husband Curt of Attleboro; three brothers, Roger M. Hart and Michael J. Hart, both of New Bedford, and Andrew Hart and his wife Deidre of Dartmouth; three nieces, Marissa, Samantha and Sydney; and six nephews, Ryan, Roger, Dylan, Nathan, Brayden and Jackson.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Friday, Feb. 17,at 9:30 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
