Virginia M. (Tallman) Nicholson, 84, of Warren, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Crestwood Nursing Center.
Born in Barrington, a daughter of the late James and Marie Ann (Cloutier) Tallman, she was the wife of the late Earl Nicholson Sr.; they were married 59 years. She was a homemaker most of her married life and loved going for rides in the country, knitting and cooking.
She leaves her son, Earl Nicholson Jr. and his wife Kathy (Sullivan) Nicholson of Warren; and her two grandchildren, Earl and Julie Nicholson. She was the sister of the late Janet Lemieux and Margaret Camara.
Arrangements are with Smith Funeral & Memorial Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 in St. Jean Baptiste Mission Church, 328 Main St. Interment will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery.
