In the latest edition of Famitsu, Goichi “Suda51″ Suda announced a new title under development for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Lollipop Chainsaw is a zombie-slaying action game with a sexy twist. You play as a scantily clad 18 year old cheerleader, Juliet, sporting a chainsaw who is ripping apart zombies inside a West Coast high school.

It’s her 18th birthday and she is on her way to San Romero High School to meet her boyfriend. Unfortunately, she is greeted by her zombie-fied classmates. Now its a battle for her life. Luckily there is a chainsaw.

“Actually I’ve wanted to do a crazy horror-action game like this set in a school for a while now,” Suda commented. “Something where the classrooms, corridors, gymnasium and so on are suddenly transformed into something completely different. I was also working on a game concept centered around using a chainsaw as a weapon, and once the idea for the Juliet character began to form, it was just a perfect fit.”
Lollipop Chainsaw has a colorful poppy style with zombies spilling glittery pink blood. This is a big contrast to the usually zombie game. The graphics look amazing in the few screens that have been released. There is little information about this title with a release date yet to announce.

There is a new website for Lollipop Chainsaw coming soon, http://www.lolli.jp. Keep checking back to our site for updates and announce for Lollipop Chainsaw.
