The incident took place during the lunch hour in the school (precise location wasn’t specified) on Monday, Nov 4. Faculty members alerted the school resource officer (police officer) that a student had shown a knife while making the threat but had not used it.

The resource officer found the student and seized the knife which was described as a spring-loaded folding knife, classified as a dangerous weapon.

Three days later, at 9:08 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, police arrested the youth at an off-campus location. Charges included carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds, and assault (threats) with a dangerous weapon.
