Woman dies of injuries from fiery Warren wreck

A Barrington woman severely burned in a car fire in Warren died of her injuries Friday, Dec. 21, at Rhode Island Hospital.

Carolyn Corbett, 68, was injured Wednesday, Dec. 19, after her car caught fire following a four-car accident on Schoolhouse Road in Warren. She was pulled from her burning car by several bystanders including off-duty fireman Patrick Rimoshytus, who suffered burns to his hands and legs attempting to free her. Ms. Corbett was a home health care worker. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 28. Click here for service information.
