BayCoast Bank has announced the 11 finalists in the first phase of its “Just Right is $20,000 for our schools” contest, which sought recommendations from the community to identify student-centered programs that are in need of financial assistance.

Both Westport and Tiverton schools are among those making the cut.

Local entries among the 11 finalists are

• Summer Assessment Clinic by Westport Elementary School

• Music at Tiverton High School Is “Just Right” by Tiverton High School

BayCoast Bank will spread a total of $10,000 among the finalists.  Additionally,  $10,000 –  the grand prize –  will be awarded to the finalist receiving the most votes on Facebook. The community is encouraged to vote for their favorite — people may vote one time per 24-hour period. Visit the Bank’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/BayCoastBank, to vote.
