Preliminary 3rd quarter Fiscal 2013 real estate and personal property tax bills were mailed Dec. 28 and are due on or before Feb. 1. Any payment made after the due date is subject to 14 percent annual interest. There is no grace period.

Payment may be made by mail, in person or on line at www.westport-ma.gov using e-bill for a 35 cent per transaction fee.

If paying in person, bring your bill with you. If mailing payment, send in the remit portion of the bill, or, if requesting a receipt, send in the whole bill along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

New property owners may contact the office at 508-636-1010 for a copy if they did not receive a bill. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first Monday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
