Warren zoning board decisions, week of January 23

ITThe following Warren Zoning Board of Review decisions were recently filed in the town clerk’s office:

•Board members unanimously approved a variance for Lee Hower of 61 Asylum Road, who sought to build a detached garage in the front yard, where accessory structures are not permitted.

•Board members unanimously approved a variance for William J. Kemp of 208 Metacom Ave., who sought to build an addition to the rear of an existing home with a less than required side yard setback.

•Board members voted 4 to 1, with Harrington opposed, to approve a special use permit sought by the Estate of Theresa Garafa of 4 Baltimore Ave. and Milwaukee Ave., to unmerge two lots. Several abutters spoke against the request.

•Board members unanimously approved a variance sought by John and Joan Coyle of 21 Terrace Ave., who sought to buid an addition with a less than required front yard setback.
