Warren Town Council removes planning board member

A former Warren Planning Board member who stopped showing up at meetings months ago and never reached out to the town has been removed from the board.

Martine Rousseau was removed by a unanimous vote of the Warren Town Council at its meeting last Tuesday, on the advice of town solicitor Anthony DeSisto. Board chairman Fred Massie had requested the woman’s removal for several months, saying she never reached out to him, offered a letter of resignation, or otherwise told the town about her intentions. The town clerk is advertising for a new volunteer to fill the vacancy her departure creates.
