Police and rescue crews were called to an SUV that rolled over at the intersection of Metacom Avenue and Child Street at about 7:27 a.m. The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
Kyle R. LaFerriere, 23, of 32 Davis St., second floor, was picked up in Bristol on a Warren warrant for two counts of child abuse, second degree.
The animal control officer took an injured swan to a rehab specialist in Bristol. The bird was spotted on Serpentine Road.

A Broad Street woman told police that someone vandalized her car.
William A. Mcgloin, 38, of Providence, was arrested on a warrant for domestic vandalism/malicious injury to property and domestic disorderly conduct.
A Serpentine Road woman told police that someone stole money out of her pocketbook.
A Fall River woman faces charges after police pulled over an erratic driver in the Kentucky Fried Chicken parking lot at 2:43 p.m. Stacy Almeida, 28, of Fall River, was charged with possession of drugs; police did not specify whether she was the driver, or the type of drugs allegedly seized.
Melanie M. Rene, 23, of 17 Sisson St., was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant.
Police got a call that a silver pickup truck was racing around Davis Street.
Police got a call about a drunken person on Main Street.
A girl reported getting into a fight with another girl on Kickemuit Road.
Police got a call from Metacom Avenue that a squirrel was attacking customers at the Super Scoop Ice Cream shop. Police checked it out and noted that the squirrel had already left by the time they got there. No word on whether it was after the butter brickle or maple walnut.
The harbormaster was advised about a vessel adrift on the Kickemuit River.

Police got a complaint that kids were throwing rocks at cars on Metacom Avenue.
Kids were spotted on the roof of a Water Street building.
Someone stole a tablet from a home on Ward Street.

A car reported stolen a day earlier from Child Street turned up back in the owner’s driveway.
A man told police that a youth broke his son’s glasses. The kids had been playing around, apparently.Alan M. Jacobs, 25, of 20 Union St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a Rhode Island Superior Court warrant.
A loud music complaint came in from Child Street.
Police got a call at 9:52 p.m. about a drunk woman standing in Metacom Avenue.
Sunday, May 4
Stephanie M. Quinn, 24, of Raynham, Ma., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and refusal to submit to a chemical test, after police pulled her over on Metacom Avenue at 1:13 a.m.
A bank card was found on Metacom Avenue and later returned to the owner.
A red pickup truck struck mailboxes on Seymour Street before splitting, a caller told police.
