Someone complained that two men were urinating in a parking lot on Baker Street at around 10:16 a.m.
All was not as it appeared when a Market Street woman called police from Market Street just after 5 p.m. to report a man with a knife in her apartment, destroying items and causing a scene. Police came out and determined that the man didn’t have a knife, and there was no property damage. Police noted that they dispersed the woman, not the man.
Police were called to Metacom Avenue for an “intoxicated party.”
Tuesday, Oct. 15
Caleb S. Rome, 25, of 17 Davis St., was charged with three counts of carrying a prohibited weapon, after police noted a suspicious man on Metacom Avenue at 1:19 a.m. 416
Christopher J. Minio, 31, of Bristol, was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant.
Wednesday, Oct. 16
A Kathleen Drive woman reported fraud.
An Ellis Avenue resident reported being harassed over the phone.
A Milwaukee Avenue man called police after noticing his cell phone missing. He told officer he suspected a friend of his juvenile son’s.
Thursday, Oct. 17
A caller asked that police check on the well-being of his son, who lives on Kickemuit Road. Police checked and all was well.
Police went to a neighbor dispute on Main Street.
The owner of a Main Street business told police a woman came in and told him she’d just been assaulted. She later recanted, saying there was no assault.
A Main Street man called police after noticing that his cable TV was disconnected.
A Central Court resident reported theft from a parked car.
The harbormaster got a call that a 12′ sailboat on Water Street was taking on water.
Amy E. Conti, 38, of 27A Asselin St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant.
Friday, Oct. 18
Kerry A. Bergeron, 25, of 20 Union St., second floor, was arrested on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant.
A Beach Street woman reported getting harassing phone calls from her ex.
Two suspicious men spotted on Main Street just after 1 p.m. were only rolling cigarettes, police determined.
Police were called about a neighborhood dispute on Seymour Street.
A Locust Terrace resident reported being threatened.
A domestic incident drew a police response on Coomer Avenue.
Police were called during a loud argument on Wood Street.
Someone complained that kids were making a lot of noise while running around a parking lot on child Street at 10:48 p.m.
A few minutes later, someone from Union Street complained about noise from a child crying. The mother told police she was putting the baby down for the night.
A woman called police after receiving what she thought were harassing text messages. Police checked it out and learned that they weren’t harassment; the person who sent them had the wrong number.
Saturday, Oct. 19
Someone on Bowen Street came by a walker on the sidewalk, with a handbag hanging from it.
Police got a complaint that a man was sitting on a Main Street sidewalk, obstructing passers-by as they came and went.
Police went out to Dyer Street to look into a barking dog complaint. No one was home but the dog was still barking; they left a “nuisance” notice on the door.
Police told a man on Main Street to put out his back yard leaf pile fire.
Someone found a wallet on Market Street and turned it in.
Gina M. Andreozzi, 50, of 58 Coomer Ave., was charged with felony domestic assault and domestic disorderly conduct, after police were called to her home at 6:45 p.m. for a disturbance.
Police checked on the well-being of a man walking in the middle of Main Street just before 11 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 20
Someone complained about a loud party on Cottage Street.
A barking dog drew a complaint from Napoleon Street at 12:36 a.m.
A caller from Bagy Wrinkle Cove heard a loud bang or explosion around 12:41 a.m.
A man was arrested after police were called to a possible domestic dispute on Metacom Avenue at about 1:25 a.m. Roger M. Daly, 33, of 381 Metacom Ave., was arrested on a bench warrant issued from Sixth Division District Court in Providence.
Police got a complaint of a rabid raccoon on Shore Drive.
A loud music call came in from Union Street at 6:37 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 21
Police got a call about a dog barking on Kelly Street just after 2 a.m. The officer who responded could not hear any barking dogs, but did hear water fowl in the river.
