Warren police donate Christmas dinners to needy

By   /   December 21, 2012  /   1 Comment

A few local families got a holiday surprise this past week when volunteers from St. Mary of The Bay Church delivered holiday baskets donated to them by members of Warren’s police union, the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, Local 470. The baskets, 15 in all, included turkey, corn, beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce and other holiday fixings. They were all donated to the church through its pastor Peter Gower, the chaplain of the Warren Police Department. Shown above are (from left) Sgt. Michael Marcello, Lt. Brule, Detective Kristin Beaulieu, Lt. Roy Borges, Father Gower, Officer Patrick Sarasin and Deputy Chief Joseph Loiselle.
