A Warren man faces a bail hearing next Monday, July 15, two weeks after Bristol police charged him with indecent solicitation of a minor.

Warren police arrested Timothy Dubois, 20, of 82 Water St., on Saturday, June 29 and turned him over to Bristol police. The arrest came about three months after the mother of a 13-year-old Bristol girl complained about an improper relationship Mr. Dubois had had with her daughter.

Bristol Deputy Chief Steven Contente said the mother was looking on her daughter’s laptop computer and discovered nude pictures that the girl had taken of herself and sent to Mr. Dubois. The mother called the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and also went to police. Officers later discovered private Facebook conversations between the two, who police said knew each other through mutual friends in school.

Mr. Dubois was arraigned on June 29 and was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bail with surety. He remains at the ACI in Cranston; Monday’s bail hearing will be held in Sixth Division District Court in Providence.
