Warren budget hearings continue Saturday

Warren’s municipal budget hearings continue this Saturday.

The Warren Town Council, which spent all morning and a good part of the afternoon Saturday talking to town department heads about their various budgets, will meet with several other departments this Saturday as they make their way through Warren’s $xx million budget. Public hearings are set to start next month, and the entire budget will be presented to taxpayers at Financial Town Meeting in May. Saturday’s meeting starts at 9 a.m. at Warren Town Hall. On tap for the session are:

n 9 a.m.: Harbormaster

n 9:15 a.m.: Recreation Department

n 9:30 a.m.: George Hail Library

n 9:45 a.m.: Social services

n 9:55 a.m.: Senior Center

n 10:05 a.m.: Police Department

n 10:15 a.m.: Boards and Commissions

n 10:45 a.m.: Grants and contributions

n 11 a.m.: Overall capital items

n 11:45 a.m.: Miscellaneous and outstanding items
