Warren, Bristol tie in ‘blood battle’

By   /   October 9, 2012  /   1 Comment

And the winner is … the Rhode Island Blood Center.

The towns of Bristol and Warren tied in a town vs. town blood drive held at two locations this past Saturday. In all, 32 donors gave blood  at the Bristol location, rescue headquarters on Annawamscutt Road, and at the Warren location, at the police department. This is the second year of the friendly competition, at which donors are given a chance to give blood on behalf of their town. Though Saturday’s drives are over, you can still donate on behalf of Warren or Bristol if you give blood soon. To do so, tell the blood center employees you’re donating with sponsor code 3013 for Warren, or otherwise for Bristol.
