A team of volunteers helped build a series of additions to the Nayatt School playground recently.

The volunteers included a number of teachers and staff members at the school and parents of students, as well as businesses that pitched in — Mangia Trattoria & Pizzeria, Miz. Fibs Catering & Deli, Bagels, etc., Shaw’s, Blount Market, Barrington Towing Company, and Steve Dibble & Sons all offered assistance during the recent playground construction project.

Nayatt PTO officials wanted to thank all the people who helped out, including the Ferreira family and friends and Amy and Brian O’Connell. The Feinstein Foundation also played a key role in the recent project.

The new playground equipment was added to existing structures, and a new shade structure was also installed.
