Bristol’s compost facility is collecting natural Christmas trees for Bristol residents. To dispose of a tree, residents are asked to place it on the sidewalk on the same day as their regularly scheduled trash pick-up. Trees will be collected as long as they are free of any ornaments and not wrapped in a plastic bag.

Trees will be picked up through Jan. 15. To have a Christmas tree picked up after Jan. 15, residents must call the compost facility at 253-8877 to request pick-up.
