At 9:23 p.m., after he rear-ended another car at the corner of Bulgarmarsh and Stafford Roads (Bliss Corners), Aron Lepage, 35, of Somerset, was charged with carrying a weapon while intoxicated (a felony), driving while under the influence of alcohol, and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test. Police said Mr. Lepage claimed to be a Fall River police officer but that he is no longer on the police force. At the time of the accident, said Tiverton Police Captain Patrick Jones, Mr. Lepage was carrying a 10 mm Glock, loaded with a 10 round magazine, on his right hip, and another clip, with 10 rounds in it, in his right coat pocket.  Capt. Jones said Mr. Lepage had a license to carry.

After being stopped for speeding (36 mph in a 25 mph zone) at 5:20 p.m., Andrew J. Miguel, 24, of 73 Fairfield Avenue, Tiverton, was charged under a 2nd District court bench warrant with failure to appear.

Thursday, Jan. 31

Shaun P. Pettey, 28, of 60 Brayton Road, Tiverton, was charged at 5:42 p.m. under a 2nd District Court bench warrant with failure to appear.

Sunday, Feb. 3

With a nine year-old child in his car, Michael William Gaudreau, 37, of Fall River, was involved in an accident at 6:41 p.m, and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a child under 13 in his car, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test, with driving under conditions (an obstruction on the road) requiring a reduced speed, and with failure to drive at a reasonable and prudent speed.

Monday, Feb. 4

After allegedly smashing a telephone and pushing and scratching his victim at 1:02 a.m., Ryan J. Morton, 26, of 105 Evergreen Avenue, Tiverton, was charged with domestic assault, domestic vandalism, and domestic refusal to relinquish a telephone.

At 2:10 a.m., Rebecca Barter, 23, of Fall River, was charged with making crank or obscene telephone calls in connection with incidents that occurred last August.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

After he allegedly took a large amount of jewelry from his victim, Cory John Pedro, 28, of Westport, was charged at 8:10 a.m. with larceny over $1,500.
