Wednesday, Jan. 23At 10:46 p.m., William L. Freeman, 23, of Middletown, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test, speeding (48 mph in a 25 mph), six traffic violations (wrong side of road, a laned roadway violation, use of breakdown lane, interior lights not on during police traffic stop, no license in his possession, driving with an invalid license), two counts of assault after he took swings at two officers in the police station, and one count of resisting arrest.
Tuesday, Jan. 22
After being spotted at 11:28 a.m. by police in a local shop, and known to be wanted under a 2nd District Court bench warrant for failure to pay fines, Todd A. Davis, 22, of 27 Durfee Road, Tiverton, was charged under the warrant and, following a search of his pockets that produced four baggies with heroin or its residue, was further charged with possession of a scheduled drug.
At 11:05 p.m., Christopher J. Vivier, 34, of 15 Randolph Avenue, Apt. # 1FL, Tiverton, was observed not wearing a seat belt, and after being stopped, gave a false name and date of birth. Further, the license plate did not match the vehicle. He was charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of his duties and with driving with an invalid license.
Wednesday, Jan. 23
Kelly Pimental, 43, of 120 Horizon Drive, Tiverton, was charged at 10:50 a.m. with domestic assault after a family argument.
Friday, Jan. 25
David R. Lingard, 37, of 301 Bulgarmarsh Road, Tiverton, was charged at 10:22 p.m. under a 2nd District Court bench warrant with failure to appear.
After turning himself in at 11:59 p.m., Jason M. Morreira, 27, of 37 Pershing Avenue, Tiverton, was charged under two Superior Court bench warrants and a 2nd District Court bench warrant with failure to appear.
Saturday, Jan. 26
Shaun P. Pettey, 28, of 60 Brayton Road, Tiverton, was charged at 2:05 a.m. with domestic, disorderly conduct after punching a wall.
At 6:30 p.m., Christian Faulkner, 20, of 36 Cliff Street, Tiverton, was charged under a 2nd District Court bench warrant with failure to appear and pay costs and fines.
Sunday, Jan. 27
After being stopped for speeding 54 mph in a 40 mph zone at 6: 20 p.m., Edward Medeiros Jr, 39, of Westport, was charged with possession of marijuana and of a scheduled drug (hydrocodone), driving while in possession of controlled substances, and speeding more than 11 mph over the speed limit.Add to favorites
