Time to paint the rocks at Mt. Hope

Hundreds of incoming seniors at Mt. Hope High School took part in a messy rite of passage Monday afternoon, painting rocks and a bridge at Mt. Hope High School with the school’s colors, purple and white. Above, Rodrigo Rodriguez gets a white coating on his beard, perhaps in preparation for a shave. Teachers and police were on hand to make sure the yearly tradition stayed within bounds.
