The ceremony marked the official start of a third term for June Speakman and Kate Weymouth council term while Ann Strong begins her first term.
Ms. Speakman was later unanimously approved as Town Council President and Ms. Weymouth was unanimously approved as Council Vice President.
Re-elected School Committee member Bob Shea was also sworn in Monday night alongside new School Committee member Paula Dominguez and town moderator Julia Califano. The School Committee will handle its election of officers at a meeting Thursday night.
