ATLUS today announced that the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin for PSP (PlayStation Portable), the one entry in the publisher’s acclaimed Persona series of roleplaying games never to be released outside of Japan, is now available in stores across North America and via PlayStation Network.
“The release of Persona 2: Innocent Sin for PSP system marks the end of a very long wait for fans of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise and its Persona subseries,” commented Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales at ATLUS. “Not only does this new PSP system version of the game offer fans a refined, enhanced experience, improving upon the visuals, user interface, audio, and more, but it is also the only entry in the Persona series of critically acclaimed JRPGs to never be officially localized for North America.”
Over 12 years in the making, the official localization of Innocent Sin provides fans with a dark RPG epic about reality being twisted by rumors and high school students who must draw on their inner strengths to bring back order.
