The Townies were coming off a 43-36 victory over Toll Gate, February 14, which snapped a long, eight-game league losing streak as they attempted to maintain some hope creeping back into postseason contention. Leonardo led all scorers with career-best 27 points for the locals, who recovered from an early 15-point hole then a seven-point deficit at intermission to outscore the Titans, 24-10, in the second half. Drainville added nine points for the locals, who improved to 3-8 in the II-East standings with the win.

The Townies have five games remaining on their league schedule and are still in the race for one of the last playoff berths offered for the D-II championship tournament. E.P. hosts Tolman Thursday, Feb. 20, then travels to Central Falls Monday, Feb. 24. Tip time for each game is 7 p.m.
