Libby Dolan, Emma McMillan, Corey Daugherty and Katherine Clancy were among the 29 Rhode Island student-athletes to win 2014 Cox Rhode Island Sports Awards during a recent event at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston.

Libby earned her award for field hockey while Emma was selected for cross country, Corey in basketball and Katherine in girls’ lacrosse.

Barrington’s Corey Daugherty won a Cox Sports Award for his performance this basketball season.

This is the eighth year of the Cox Rhode Island Sports Awards, which honor the “best and brightest athletes the Ocean State has to offer.”

The top male and female athlete awards went to Bishop Hendricken’s Colin Tierney for cross country and Taylor Buckley, of Exeter/West Greenwich, for girls’ basketball.
