“My dad was a coach, so I guess I was born into basketball," said Bonzie Colson II.

BARRINGTON — The 2013 edition of the St. Andrew’s School Holiday Basketball Classic took place locally over the last two days and nights, bringing some of the top teams and players in the region to the East Bay.

Notre Dame-bound St. Andrew’s senior Bonzie Colson was selected as the tournament’s most valuable player. The host Saints won both of their outings, defeating Holderness (N.H.) by 19 and Tilton (N.H.) by 10.

“The 2013 St. Andrew’s Holiday Classic was a huge success,” said legendary St. Andrew’s head coach Mike Hart. “I can’t thank everyone enough for their efforts!! The kids and coaches played hard and showed sportsmanship.”
