Bristol-Warren musicians give it their all

BRISTOL—Hundreds of parents and music lovers came out to Roger Williams University on Wednesday night for the Bristol-Warren regional school districts annual All Bands Concert. The program featured Kickemuit Middle School’s 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands as well as the Mt. Hope High School Marching Band and concert and symphonic bands. The middle school bands played selections such as the Star Fire March, A Little Bit of Latin, Day-O, T-Rex, Irish Tune from County Derry and the Abington Ridge Overture. The high school bands played Border Crossing, Dynamite, Aces High March, An Irish Rhapsody and highlights from the Lion King soundtrack. For the finale the bands combined to play Bruce Pearson’s Boogie Blues.
