The tournament emphasized sportsmanship and player development, so no overall winner was declared, but the Barrington head coach Matthew Stein said team impressed many coaches with its disciplined play and was clearly the strongest team in its six-team pool.
The team victories came against Attleboro HS (Attleboro Ma.), Xaverian Brothers HS (Waltham Ma.), host Sharon HS (Sharon Ma.), Newton South HS (Newton Ma.) and Ashland HS (Ashland Ma.).
The team graduated eight seniors last year and only senior and captain Daniel Roach and Junior Markus Stein are returning starters.
Moving up from JV team are juniors Ben Sheinkopf, Eli Sheinkopf and Charley Winner, and sophomores Nick Senich and Teddy Kurkoski.
Stein said the team has also been greatly strengthened by new players including junior Liam Callanan, sophomores Jake Gorton and Logan Reed and freshman sensation Ben Alexander.
Also playing for the Barrington team is Emet Schwartz, a senior at Providence Country Day School.
League rules permit players from other schools as long as that school does not have a team of its own.
Barrington is the only registered high school ultimate team in Rhode Island.
