Barrington High School homecoming threatened by rain

A threat of rain in the forecast may result in the alteration of Barrington High School’s annual homecoming celebration and football game scheduled for Friday night.

School athletic director George Finn said school officials were keeping an eye on the forecast to determine if Friday night’s match-up with East Providence needs to be re-scheduled and if so, to when. The evening is also scheduled to feature an annual homecoming parade, which Mr. Finn said wouldn’t be re-scheduled should Friday night end up a wash out.

The crowning of a homecoming king and queen, however, could be moved along with the football game.
