Senior Tom Barry finished fifth in the 1,000 meter with a time of 2:37.37, breaking Cyrus Cousins’ 2011 time of 2:38.25.
Barry was also part of a 4X800 relay team that broke a 2012 record alongside sophomore Lucas Bledsoe and seniors Will Casazza and Connor Royley. The group’s time of 8:26.95 was good enough for ninth place at the meet and was .20 seconds better than the previous school record.
Senior thrower Charlie Ionata continued a strong season by breaking his own school record for the second time. His 73’10″ hurl in the weight throw was good enough for first place. Sophmore Adam Kelly finished second with throw of 65’9.25″.

Head coach Bill Barrass said it was a “great day for the team” and meet to remember.
