The Barrington High School boys’ basketball team improved to 7-2 overall this season after defeating Mt. St. Charles 68-24 at home Friday night.
The game was Barrington’s second in the annual Barrington Boosters Holiday Tournament. The team went 1-1 in the tournament.
Head coach Patrick Sullivan said the win included a good defensive effort and balanced scoring on offense.
Senior guard Jesse Browne lead in the Eagles in scoring with 13 while sophomore guard Corey Daugherty netted 11. Freshman forward Matt DeWolf also had 11.
The Eagles overall record includes a perfect 4-0 record in Division II. The team plays again on Thursday at Exexter-West Greenwich.
