Barrington High School boys’ basketball team beats Tolman

The Barrington High School boys’ basketball team defeated Tolman 57-49 at home on Friday night.

The Eagles were lead by Corey Daugherty who scored 24 points. Jesse Browne followed with 10.

Head coach Pat Sullivan said it was a tough game but the team executed well offensively to close the game out.

The loss knocks Tolman to 0-4 in Division I and 1-4 overall.

Barrington’s next game is Thursday at 6 p.m. in the high school’s annual holiday tournament. The Eagles are currently 6-1 overall and 4-0 in Division I. The Eagles will play North Kingstown, one of five teams with an undefeated D-I record.

The other three teams include Coventry, Cumberland and Westerly.
