Sandy’s Monday night tidal surge littered rocks all over South Shore Beach destroying the reconstruction of the beach and parking lot that was done last Spring. Surf seekers gathered to gaze at the surf and enjoy the balmy weather on Tuesday despite having to park along the road and walk to the beach due to the damaged parking lot. Once there they tip toed through the garden of rocks strewn all over the entire beach.
