PROVIDENCE — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation has announced two ribbon-cutting ceremonies, both for Friday, Nov. 30, heralding recently completed projects in East Providence.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for Friday, Nov. 30, to officially open the recently completed 10-Mile River Bridges Project on North Broadway.

Officials will gather at the foot of Warren Avenue at 11:30 a.m. formally opening the newly renovated and expanded stretch of Waterfront Drive. Later in the day, 2 p.m. at Freedom Green Park in Rumford, dignitaries will again convene to officially christen the completed 10-Mile River Bridges project over North Broadway.
