PORTSMOUTH — If your home or property was damaged by the blizzard Nemo, you should call Town Hall to report it, according to the Portsmouth Emergency Management Agency (PEMA).

The damage reports will be helpful in determining whether or not Rhode Island qualifies for federal disaster assistance funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Call 683-3255 during normal business hours to report any property damage from the storm. You will be asked to provide your name and contact information, the address of the damaged property and a description of the damage.

If your power is still out, call 800/465-1212.

In other news, the parking ban in Portsmouth has been extended until 7 p.m. Sunday in order so Department of Public Works crews can complete their cleanup work.

Also, National Grid crews are expected to travel to Prudence Island at 6 a.m. Monday, according to PEMA. The island has been without power since the storm.
