Rep. Jay Edwards

Edwards said after the announcement. “I take my leadership responsibilities very seriously and I will do everything I can to support my colleagues as we continue to break barriers and help our communities thrive. I’m looking forward to a great legislative session.”
As senior deputy majority leader, Rep. Edwards serves as a member of the House leadership team. His duties include overseeing the 10 additional deputy majority leaders, who will work closely with House Majority Leader Nicholas A. Mattiello to ensure that party members are properly informed on upcoming measures and votes.
