PORTSMOUTH — The Portsmouth Public Works Department announces that residents may place sticks and branches from Hurricane Sandy curbside for collection. Branches should be no larger than 8 inches in diameter. Don’t bundle or cut the branches unless necessary.

Deadline for pickup is November 7.

The transfer station will be open for residents on private and public roads who have valid stickers to drop off storm debris as well. Debris too big for a 55 gallon drum must be no longer than three feet and bundled with twine.

Questions, call 683-0362.
