Portsmouth Police: Father-son break in arrest

Tuesday, Jan. 1

Todd D. Eads, 46, of 36 Greenfield Ave., Portsmouth, was charged with domestic assault at 8:15 p.m. after a dispute with his wife.

At 3:16 p.m., Kami Lyn Strzelecki, 46, of Auburn, Mass., was charged with drunk driving and refusing a chemical breath test after being stopped for erratic driving on East Main Road, northbound.

David Ray Hall, 36, of Matapoisett, Mass., was charged at 3:11 a.m. with drunk driving and refusing a chemical breath test after he was stopped for speeding on East Main Road.

At 12:12 a.m., Timothy F. Windley, 25, of Hope Mills, NC, was charged with assault after a disagreement at a New Year’s Eve party.

Thursday, Jan. 3

David E. Welch, 41, of Bristol, and his son Justin Welch, 18, of Middletown were both charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny after an investigation by Portsmouth and Bristol police. The arrests stem from a Dec. 22 break-in on Mitchell’s Lane in Portsmouth in which handguns and jewelry were stolen. Police with a warrant searched the elder Welch’s Bristol residence and recovered some of the stolen items, Portsmouth Police said.  The son later turned himself in.

Scott E. Deasley, 41, of Fall River, was charged with domestic assault and making domestic harassing phone calls to his ex-girlfriend at 12:37 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Erika L. Joaquin, 30, of 3299 East Main Road, Portsmouth, was arrested at 1:29 a.m. on a bench warrant from 2nd District Court.

David Lee Truver, 30, of 86 Norseman Drive, Portsmouth, was arrested at 8:32 p.m. on a bench warrant from 6th District Superior Court.
