Westport Police are looking for the man who held up Beautiful Hair Design, 1180 State Road, on Thursday. They were called there for a report of an arms robbery by a masked man.
The white male suspect was described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over a grey sweatshirt. He was also wearing light colored jeans, with yellowish colored Timberland boots.
The man entered Beautiful Hair Design with his hand under his sweatshirt indicating that he had a weapon. He ordering the occupants to the floor and demanded money. The occupants complied and the subject fled on foot, running onto Highland Avenue toward Saint George Church.
