Westport police: North-end vehicles targeted

WESTPORT — Several vehicles in the north end of town were reportedly broken into overnight on Monday, Aug. 27, and other reports from the Westport Police Department from Sunday, Aug. 26 to Friday, Aug. 31.

Sunday, Aug. 26

A vehicle accident on State Road at Faulkner Street at 2:20 a.m. sent a person to the hospital.

Monday, Aug. 27

A stolen vehicle was reported at 9:02 p.m. on State Road.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

Ten vehicle break-ins in the north end were reported throughout the day: B Drive at 6:43 a.m.; Holly Hill Avenue at 7:02 a.m.; J Drive at 7:51 a.m.; D Drive at 8:13 a.m.; Holly Hill Avenue at 8:18 a.m.; two on Christopher Circle at 10:05 a.m. and 10:49 a.m.; R Drive at 1:47 p.m.; B Drive at 6:05 p.m.; and J Drive at 8:16 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

A vehicle accident on State Road at 9:36 p.m. sent a person to the hospital.

Thursday, Aug. 30

A vehicle fire was reported at 1:04 p.m. on Route 88.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Christopher Circle at 1:12 p.m.
