Tiverton police bust two drunk drivers in two days

Friday, Nov. 9

After a speeding stop at 1:10 a.m. on Stafford Road for going 69 mph in a 25-mph-zone,  Marc N. Fleming, 21, of 519 Fish Road, Tiverton, was charged with two traffic offenses and driving under the influence of alcohol, after blowing 0.233 on a breathalyzer test, nearly three times the legal limit, said Captain Patrick Jones of the Tiverton Police Department.

Saturday, Nov. 10

At 11:30 p.m., Jared Neintimp, 31, of 39 Winterberry Drive, Tiverton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test, refusal to submit to a preliminary breathalyzer test, driving with possession of open alcoholic beverages in the vehicle, driving at night without lights, driving through a traffic light, and driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

Monday, Nov. 12

Jason Ferreira, 28, of Fall River, was charged at 7:52 p.m. with shoplifting two electric razors worth an estimated $150 from the Rite Aid pharmacy at 677 Main Road.
