Little Compton police: necklace theft reported

Monday, Nov. 19

At 11:04 a.m., Scottie Cuoto, 31, of Taunton, was charged under a district court warrant with failure to appear/ability to pay.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

A 90-year-old Little Compton woman struck a tree while driving south on West Main Road at 11:58 a.m., and was transported to the hospital. Her car sustained heavy front end damage.

At 1:39 p.m., a resident reported the loss of an heirloom necklace believed to have been taken from a West Main Road home. The necklace was last seen in June.

At 2:48 p.m., a 36-year-old Bremerton, Washington man traveling south on West Main Road lost control of his car and left the roadway. He was transported to the hospital, and his car sustained major front end damage.

Saturday, Nov. 24

At 3 a.m., an officer checking on a suspicious vehicle parked on Town Way, charged Riley Kinnane, 19, of 78 Oak Forest Drive, Little Compton,  with possession of marijuana.

Sunday, Nov. 25

Ryan Leary, 27, of 78 Oak Forest Drive, Little Compton, was charged at 8:25 p.m. under a bench warrant with failure to appear/ability to pay.
