PORTSMOUTH — If you were expecting to receive a package from FedEx today, you may have to wait a little longer.

A FedEx truck rolled over on Route 24 around 3:30 p.m. today. The driver managed to get out of the vehicle and was treated by Portsmouth rescue workers.

Police and rescue workers found the truck tipped over on its side on a grass embankment on Route 24 northbound, just to the east of the Black Regiment memorial.

The accident slowed down northbound traffic considerably, as police directed vehicles around the crash site.

We will update this story as more news becomes available.
