The moon made a rare mid-afternoon appearance in Barrington Wednesday afternoon atop a local retail store.

Barrington Police were dispatched to the Barrington Shopping Center at about 2:45 p.m. after it was reported that three juveniles were mooning passing cars from the roof of Staples.

Police soon found a group of three, 14-year-old males on County Road who reportedly admitted to act.

The teens reportedly took photos of themselves committing the prank. The boys were released to their parents.
