A person stopped by the police station on Monday, Dec. 3 after suspecting teenagers partying in the woods off Brick Pond Drive.

Police responded to the area at approximately 8:06 p.m. and found a car parked near the end of the road.

Officers also discovered two 18-year-old Barrington men sitting inside a hut made of wood and tarps farther into the woods.

The teenagers were sitting in chairs around a fire that was burning inside of a wheelbarrow.

Police said the teens did not appear to be drinking and didn’t claim ownership of the hut.

Officers called the fire department which extinguished the fire; the DPW was called to dismantle the structure.
