A Watson Avenue man was unloading a car full of groceries last Wednesday evening when he received a bit of a surprise.

The man told police a woman was walking out of his backyard towards Clark Avenue, carrying cushions from his lawn furniture. When the man asked if she was stealing his cushions, the woman reportedly nodded her head yes before dropping the items in the middle of the road.

When the man followed her, another man emerged from the Clark Avenue home to state that no one lived there.

When police arrived at the Clark Avenue home, the woman reportedly denied any involvement in the incident. The Watson Avenue man decided not to pursue any criminal charges.
