The East Bay is beginning to look a lot like Christmas these days. The Audubon Environmental Educational Center in Bristol played host to a very special guest Saturday where Santa and Mrs. Claus entertained more than 1,000 excited kids.
More than 300 families turned out for East Bay Newspapers’ 15th Annual Photos with Santa. The free event attracts people from all around the East Bay area. Audubon EEC director Anne Dimonti looks forward to this each year, “It’s one of my favorite events that we host at the center, it really gets me in the Christmas spirit,” Ms. Dimonti said.
In addition to the chance to sit with Santa for a photo guests were able to enjoy the Audubon center at no cost thanks to a partnership with Citizens Bank. Good Neighbors Soup Kitchen was on hand for a food drive and the Bristol Police Department was there to do child seat safety checks.
